Kathleen Mary Butler, The Economics of Emancipation: Jamaica and Barbados 1823-1843 (Chapel Hill and London, University of North Carolina Press, 1995) p. 87: the Court of Chancery sold the Prior Park estate in 1832; Eyare King was a major creditor. Ibid. p.48: the estate was sold again in 1842 to Henry Grannum for £15,000.

T71/562 p. 38: enslaved persons were registered on the Prior Park estate in 1834 by Charles Davis.
