T71/905: initially no claim; a return in the name of Antone Auguste Geneve, Black River. Successful counterclaim by Sir Charles Cockerell and Co., vendees under a deed dated 25th March 1835 for the compensation for 106 enslaved persons. Awarded to John Studholme Brownrigg, John Cockerell and George Gerard de Hochfried Larpent. Then a later note added to Register of Claims, "Stated by Messrs. Crowder and Maynard to be the Copartners trading under the firm of Sir Charles Cockerell and Co and entitled --".
