T71/855: awarded to 'Millicent Lane, William Williamson in right of his wife and in behalf of James Lane, an absentee, The heirs and devisees of the late James Seaton Lane'. Counterclaim dated 01/08/1835 from Edward Clouston 'by virtue of  a letter ['from Jas Lane against his third', inserted] agreeing to the counterclaim for £150 and interest from 24 July 1835'. So consensual withdrawal of counterclaim.

T71/32: Edward Clouston registered enslaved persons in the ownership of the heirs of James Seaton Lane deceased in 1832.
