Dr Roberto Filippi gives bilingualism talk in Italy
24 January 2017
Dr Roberto Filippi, Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Special Educational Needs, visited Livorno in Italy on 21 January 2017 for a seminar aimed at a group of Italian parents and teachers.
Hosted by the Associazione d'Arte Dinamica T106, the seminar explored the cultural and cognitive advantages of bilingualism, but also the importance of correct scientific information to the general public.
The topic of bilingualism has often created misconceptions and controversy. Dr Filippi's talk was a great opportunity to engage with the general public, learn from their experiences and develop new inspiration for research.
