Dave Mellor

Director of Assessment and Curriculum, AQA

Dave has worked at AQA for 18 years in a variety of roles and is currently responsible for leading the Assessment and Curriculum team within AQA.

His main interest is in understanding the different assessment requirements needed for different subjects in order to develop valid assessments that support good teaching and learning and that can be reliably delivered.

He was heavily involved in the creation of AQA’s reformed GCSEs and A-levels and is a director of Oxford International AQA Examinations, a joint venture with Oxford University Press delivering exams internationally.
