Rio Dementia School 2022

Exploring CST Event

Do you practice Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) in your organisation? Would you like to share best practice and hear from people delivering CST from around the region?

Attend the Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust 'Exploring CST Event', where there will be a number of presentations and case studies from people who deliver CST and there will also be an opportunity to hear about the benefits from people who live with dementia. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Seminar on Dementia Intervention in a Low-resources Area: The Example of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy in Africa by Professor Richard Walker.

Professor Richard Walker is a Consultant at North Tyneside General Hospital and Honorary Professor of Ageing and International Health at Newcastle University. Professor Walker will deliver a talk on his experience of adapting and piloting CST in sub-Saharan Africa.
