HYBRID Book Launch: Retours proustiens

On the occasion of the 'Proust Centenary' (100 years after Marcel Proust's passing in 1922), this event brings together Proustians from around London to discuss recent work on Proust.

Due to strikes, this event was postponed from 30 November. The new date is 14 December, 5.15pm.

On the occasion of the 'Proust Centenary' (100 years after Marcel Proust's passing in 1922), this event brings together Proustians from around London to discuss recent work on Proust. The event will serve as a book launch for Retours proustiens (Éditions Kimé, 2022) by Patrick Bray, which looks at how twentieth-century French literature and thought has grappled with the uniqueness of Proust's work.

Confirmed panellists are Jennifer Rushworth (UCL), Edward Hughes (Queen Mary University London), Julia Hartley (King's College London), Richard Mason (Queen Mary University London), and Cynthia Gamble (University of Exeter).
