Exoplanets, atmospheres, spectroscopy, radiative transfer, retrieval, data reduction, observations, transits, machine learning, instrumentation.

The Exoplanets Group, part of the Astrophysics Group in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at UCL, works to observe and characterise planets around other stars, through the development of new data reduction and atmospheric modelling techniques. The group includes specialists in machine learning, atmospheric modelling and radiative transfer, and has a lead role in the development of the ESA ARIEL mission.
