The Strategic Philanthropy team lead the fundraising activity to support the UCL 2034 strategy. A dedicated team of fundraisers build relationships with individuals, trusts and foundations and corporate organisations to help secure philanthropic support for the institution. The team is split into four areas:
- Principal Gifts
A dedicated team of fundraisers work to secure transformational gifts (£5m+) . The team works with trusts, foundations, individuals and corporate companies to secure and manage exceptional gifts for the institution.
- University Fundraising
The University fundraising team generates philanthropic support for university wide projects such as students, capital projects (the new Student Centre and UCL East) and world leading research.
- Health Fundraising
The Health fundraising team works closely with partner hospitals to raise philanthropic income for projects specifically related to the universities health research such as cancer, ophthalmology, infectious diseases and neuroscience.
- Legacy Giving
The Strategic Philanthropy teams is the home to UCL’s legacy programme, which encourages alumni and supporters to consider leaving a gift to UCL in their will. Legacy gifts are an important source philanthropic income and a wonderful way to leave a lasting impact on the institution for future generations.
