REDRESS

Exhibition
 |
25th Sep 2018 - 14th Dec 2018
13:00 - 17:00
UCL Art Museum
Free. Open Tuesday - Friday

Slade artists Sophie Bouvier Auslander, Katherine Forster, Seungwon Jung, Zeinab Saleh and Naomi Siderfin consider drapery in its broadest terms, including cloth, clothing, fabrics and fashion, to redress the contemporary relevance of this long-standing art school tradition.

The exhibition is the outcome of an artists in residence programme, and celebrates the 10th anniversary of UCL Art Museum’s annual collaboration with the Slade School of Fine Art.

Artist events
Join us for artist performances and workshops in October and November 2018. Learn embroidery skills, follow in the footsteps of Slade women past and present, and explore how women’s work can subvert social inequalities.

  • As part of her residency, Zeinab Saleh hosted a discussion held over dinner with selected artists, curators and facilitators. The zine is a limited edition of 100 and you can get a copy in the context of the Redress exhibition at UCL Art Museum until the 14th of December or until copies run out.
