Volunteering at the Petrie Museum

The Petrie Museum offers a vibrant volunteering program that gives our volunteers holistic experience of the museum sector.

Volunteers are encouraged to work towards a certificate of qualification which will relate to the skills learnt. Volunteers can gain experience of roles relating to front of house, office management, events and specialist museum projects.

We prioritise applications from UCL student and alumni, before considering external applicants.

In order to apply for Events, Front of House and Project volunteering, please download this short application form Petrie_Volunteer_Application_Form. Then either email it to events.petrie@ucl.ac.uk / t.golding@ucl.ac.uk or drop it off at the museum addressed FAO Petrie Museum Volunteer Application. We will then contact you to arrange a an informal chat about volunteering so we can match you to the best programme.
