The Centre for Commercial Law has been established to enhance UCL's already strong reputation in the research of commercial and corporate law
Located in the heart of London, one of the leading commercial centres in the world, the Centre's main goals are to bring together commercial law experts to stimulate research and debate in commercial law (including corporate law) and practice and to strengthen cooperation with other academic centres, international organisations, the legal profession and the industry.
Our members are engaged in the scholarly research of a wide variety of commercial law topics, ranging from banking and company law, through to maritime, international trade and arbitration law.
They play leading roles in their fields of expertise, collaborating with a substantial number of academic institutions, international and national organisations, the legal profession and the industry; delivering high-calibre and influential research; providing consultancies to a wide range of bodies; and organising high-profile conferences and training courses.
In addition to external events and the courses offered for our undergraduate and postgraduate students within the Faculty of Laws, we also arrange professional courses that are specifically designed for legal practitioners and industry professionals.
The members of the Centre have expertise in a broad range of commercial law issues. Find out more about our expertise.
