Prof. Alex Leff
I am funded on an NIHR research professorship and am a professor of cognitive neurology at the Institute of Neurology and an Honorary Consultant Neurologist at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
My research has two main components:
- Brain imaging studies of aphasia and alexia.
- Web-based therapies for patients with visual impairment or language impairment.
I am involved in running four clinical services:
- Cognitive rehabilitation clinic
- Hemianopia clinic.
- Aphasia clinic
- General neurology clinic
