Strategic Planning and Supporter Operations


Creating a new standard of Alumni and Supporter Care by consistently exceeding expectations and nurturing lasting relationships with our audiences (making people really happy!) The Alumni and Supporter Care Team is the first point of contact for OVPA, dealing with enquiries by phone, email and in person. The team provides stewardship for Alumni, Donors, and provides support for teams across UCL. We also process and disburse all OVPA income, and can provide support with receiving donations, claiming Gift Aid, and setting up donation pages.


The Fundraising Support team plays a central role in supporting fundraising at UCL. In addition to providing support to the OVPA fundraising team, we can help you with advice on ways a donor can give, including tax-efficient giving options, as well as help preparing gift agreements.  The team also manage all legacy gifts on behalf of UCL, liaising with executors to ensure the gift value is maximised and that it reaches its intended destination.

The Planning & Performance team comprises of Chris Connew (Senior Planning & Performance Manager) and Harminder Singh (Planning & Performance Coordinator). 

We are responsible for overseeing OVPA’s planning cycle, financial and information management and performance measures to aid decision making, inform strategy and support OVPA surpassing its Campaign goals. We coordinate and lead on reporting, internal planning, budgeting and forecasting, performance management and data visualisation.


The Supporter Systems team ensures that our CRM system, MySupporters, is at the heart of all of our engagement and stewardship activities, enabling staff to do their best work. We lead on system configuration and governance, training and support, reporting and data quality. 

We ensure that Alumni and Supporters can interact with our systems in a user friendly manner, and that data and processes are robust and meet relevant legislation.
