Graduate and undergraduate students from the Slade School of Fine Art present sculpture and performance, using a variety of media, to address scale, function, illusion, materiality and temporality. The spaces, features, architecture and foliage of the Square will become sites for large and small scale works that explore the cultural, social and imaginary worlds of the public garden. The exhibition will present works that explore the natural and the synthetic, the public and the private and the peripheral and the absurd.
