Step Out

Are you a student with an idea for a project or activity that will help you to connect your studies with people outside UCL? Do you want a more fulfilling experience at university? Would you like to have fun while developing your skills? If the answer is yes, yes, yes, read on and step out!

UCL’s Public Engagement Unit has teamed up with the Volunteering Services Unit to bring you the Step Out programme. Step Out provides grants of up to £750 for UCL students with good ideas to run projects and activities to engage with the public.

Please note that Step Out is only open to current students at UCL, and that we do not fund activities that have already taken place.
