World class study in London exhibition - Singapore
7 February 2014
Singapore students interested in studying in London will be able to meet with representatives from four of London’s top universities – UCL, Imperial College London, King’s College London and SOAS as part of the World Class Study in London tour.
The exhibition, starting this Saturday at the Conrad Centennial Singapore Hotel, will include talks on studying and living in the UK capital and an opening speech by Stephen Hammond MP, UK’s minister for transport.
Representatives from UCL include Professor CJ Lim, Vice-Dean at The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, Dr Nicolas Szita, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biochemical Engineering and Olga Thomas, Faculty Tutor for UCL Laws. Talks will provide advice and guidance to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students on studying at UCL.
It will also offer the opportunity to catch the GREAT campaign’s iconic Routemaster bus without making a trip to London. Students can win $200 of vouchers to Jamie Oliver’s Singapore restaurant by submitting their photos of the bus on Twitter or Instagram with the hash tag #wcsilsingapore.
