About this programme
Part of the MFL and based at UCL East, the interdisciplinary Nature Inspired Solutions (NIS) MSc will teach you how to take properties we observe in nature, and how to use your knowledge, skills and creativity to drive innovation in a diverse range of sectors such as engineering, design, built environment and biosciences.
The course will equip you with knowledge of methodologies inspired by nature that can be applied across many different areas of engineering, design and beyond. It will develop your creativity and lateral thinking skills and give you experience of interdisciplinary team-working so that you will be ready to drive disruptive design and responsible innovation in research and development, entrepreneurship or industry.
