Principal Investigators
The Centre brings together UCL's leading researchers and clinicians in the neurodegeneration field, strengthening existing links and building new bonds across disciplines. The eight Principal Investigators who led the bid are renowned in their fields and already collaborate closely across a range of initiatives. However, the Centre will bring together many more scientists from basic and clinical research departments at UCL and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, including the Institute of Neurology, the Centre for Medical Image Computing, the Department for Cell and Developmental Biology, and the Department of Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology. A number of leading international scientists are also involved with the centre.
