John Richard Hallet Busby, born 10/08/1813 and baptised 06/09/1813 in Christ Church, Barbados, son of Thomas Gibbes Busby and his wife Mary Ann nee Cox. Married Christianna Richards Howell, 23/06/1835 in Christ Church. Their children were baptised in Barbados: Mary Christiana (1836), Samuel Gibbes (1837), Julia Maria (1840) and Agnes Carter (1842). The baptism record of his eldest daughter gives him as a practitioner of physic from The Farm in St Philip. The second daughter's record gives him as an apothecary of Pleasant Hall. The third, a practitioner of physic of Pleasant Hall. John Richard Hellete[sic] Busby was buried in Barbados 02/10/1870.

A cover note outlining the contents of the document.
