Assignee with John Dixon of Manning & Anderdon.

  1. Death of Neville [sic] Reid registered Q4 1839; will of Nevile Reid of Egham Surrey proved 30/04/1840. This man was a wine merchant of Suffolk Lane and Cross Lane London. If this is the same man as the assignee of Manning & Anderdon, he left a large family: he left his business to his son Rawson Reid and in 1841 Caroline Reid was living at Runnymede Egham with other children Francis 15, Anna 13, Caroline 11, Charlotte 10, Louisa 9, Clara 6, Henrietta 4 and Nevile 2.

  2. Also however Nevile Reid and Elia Maria Reid had a child, also Nevile, baptised 13/11/1820 St Marylebone who appears to have died very soon thereafter. NB also Nevile Reid The Oaks Hanworth and Shandwick County Ross died 01/05/1913, [born c. 1839] left £55558 16s 11d, one of executors was Nevile Reid previously the younger wine merchant.
