Original purchaser of the land that became Richmond Vale estate in St Vincent. William Fitzhugh entered into a bond on 03/06/1772 to secure £1500 to 'Mr' or Mrs Mary Rogers, and appears to have pledged an estate, with 110 enslaved people.
