Biography

Father of John Noble and Mary Ann Noble (each of whom q.v.), owner of Maryville and attorney of Bachelors Adventure in British Guiana. Reportedly died at Plymouth in 1826.

  1. 'By the Representatives of the Estate of the late Honble. W. Robertson, deceased, Transport of Plantation Maryville & Liberty, situated on Leguan Island, with all the Buildings, Cultivation, and a number of 110 Negroes - to Charles Lamont Robertson and John Noble. By Charles Lamont Robertson and John Noble, a First Mortgage on the said Plantation Maryville and Liberty, situated as before, with all the Buildings, Cultivation, 110 Negroes, and an additional number of 50 Negroes - in favor of Messrs. Bolton and Littledale of Liverpool.'
