Solicitor of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Shown as surviving mortgagee of two estates belonging to the family of his wife, Dorothy Atkinson, for whose brother George he was executor. It is not yet clear whether his role involved economic exposure or whether he was instead in an agency capacity.
