Biography

Son of Charles Bartrum (1760-1827) and Elizabeth Eccleston. Nephew of his partner Daniel Green Pretyman (q.v.), who was married to Frances, a sister of Elizabeth Eccleston. The firm appears to have been founded by Thomas Reynolds Bartrum's grandfather, Charles Bartrum senior, who retired in 1793.  

  1. Married St Mary Lambeth 26/04/1843 to Mary Hudson, when he was described as bachelor and merchant, son of Charles Bartrum decd. Living in Leytonstone, Middlesex, in the 1851 census, "East India merchant", age 50, born London, with his wife Mary, 5 children and 5 servants.

  2. Will of Thomas Reynolds Bartrum, merchant of Upper Thame Street, proved 07/03/1856.
