PADEMIA workshop in Berlin: Call for Proposals

Call for Proposals for the next workshop hosted by the Europe-wide network of 56 academic institutions (including UCL) to promote research and teaching on parliamentary democracy in Europe. Held on 19 November at the Bertelsmann-Repräsentanz in Berlin, the workshop will focus on EU-communication transformed? The 2014 Elections and future challenges.

CREDOC invites British Academy post-doc proposals

UCL’s Centre for Research on the Dynamics of Civilisation (CREDOC) welcomes expressions of interest from candidates for British Academy post-doctoral fellowships that concern ‘civilisational’ matters. Candidates whom CREDOC selects to sponsor and who are successful in obtaining a BA Fellowship will be hosted by the Centre and offered an additional research grant of £1,000 per year of their tenure at UCL to run research activities that relate to civilisation(s).
