Greenough Society

The Greenough Society acts as the backbone for socialising and networking for members of the UCL Earth Sciences department

UCL Greenough Society is the Earth Sciences departmental society, but we are open to anyone interested in the Earth or its climate.

Within Greenough, we like to have a work hard, play hard attitude. As well as providing you with fantastic social events and opportunities to meet like-minded people throughout the year, we deliver the most up-to-date career advice, including company talks and networking opportunities across a variety of academic fields.

Whether your interests lie below the ground or above it, you can be confident that we will have speakers and events relevant to you. From mining to atmospherics, ground engineering to space sciences, environmental work, museum curator and paleontological work to renewable energy, we aim to put UCL students at the forefront of the competition for anything related to the Earth.

In addition to this, we organise plenty of socials throughout the year. And don’t forget our Christmas Meal!
