Welcome to the concrete poetry studypack. The aim of these pages is to help you understand what concrete poetry is by giving you background information about this form of poetry as well as some examples written by the Dutch poet Mark Insingel.

The level of difficulty of the studypack is for beginners so if you’ve only begun to learn Dutch it shouldn’t be too difficult for you. Word explanations will be given with the poems.
