Synopsis:

There has been drastic change in the roles and the expected outcomes of transport projects in our society. Do we use or have right approaches to appraise projects? What is the current practice? What are the opportunities for future research? This workshop first provides a training on how Transport for London conducts project appraisal, where participants will appraise some example projects. After understanding the current practice, the workshop will have a discussion session to explore the opportunities for improvement to suit the current and future needs.
