CRUK UCL Centre's Research Engagement

Research Engagement brings to life the incredible research carried out at the CRUK UCL Centre, inspiring supporters and the public. Scientists at the Centre are proud to share their work, and our events enable the public to see how and where CRUK’s money is being spent. They also allow us to thank donors for their generosity, and show how research at UCL is helping even more people survive their cancer.

Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPI/E) is vital to the success of our Centre’s research. The CRUK Research Engagement team works with researchers to showcase the cancer research being carried out at UCL through lab tours, open days and other events. Over the past year, UCL researchers have supported and delivered around 30 events, spreading news about our research to almost 2,000 people. We are proud to have had over 40 different scientists from across UCL support this activity, many more than once.
