Nyhavn - New Harbour
Nyhavn (literally: 'New Harbour') by the canal is another very picturesque area. For many years it was a place where sailors came to spend their money when they had a night off and it was known as the red light district of Copenhagen. Today it is one of the most fashionable parts of the city - popular with the Danes as well as with tourists because of the many nice cafes and restaurants.
