A Virtual Tour of Denmark
Today Copenhagen is a large and modern city, but there are still many places which have kept their old charm. One is Nyboder. These houses were built on the orders of King Christian IV in 1631 with the purpose of housing men serving in the Danish navy and their families. Today the houses are listed and must be painted in exactly the same colour as they were in the 17th century.
