Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships

Fellowships are available for five graduates students from the UK, to study for up to two consecutive years in one of the Faculties at Harvard.

Kennedy Scholarships 2014-15

These generous awards, which are the UK’s living memorial to President Kennedy and have now been offered for nearly 50 years, will fund British graduates who are also British citizens to take graduate programmes at Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Scandinavian Studies PhD student wins Fulbright award

Richard Cole

Richard Cole, a PhD student in Scandinavian Studies, has won a Fulbright award to spend a year at Harvard University from September 2013.
He is currently writing his PhD on depictions of Jews in medieval Scandinavia. He will be spending a year at Harvard as a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures, where he hopes to pursue his secondary interests in Yiddish, Old English and Medieval Hebrew.

UCL European Institute and Institut Français launch new cooperation

The UCL European Institute is launching a new cooperation with the Institut Français in London.

From the academic year 2013-14 onwards, we will jointly host one colloquium and two joint lectures per year in order to reinforce existing – or initiate new – research links between UCL academics and colleagues from French universities working in the arts, humanities, historical and social sciences, and on European matters broadly defined.
