Journal of
Conservation & Museum Studies
No. 1, May 1996

Next Issue

--------------------------

Six months after the debut of the Journal of Conservation and Museum Studies, the Journal's editorial board has decided to adopt an annual schedule for publication. This decision has been made to allow the Journal to more accurately reflect the academic schedules of our contributors. By publishing later in the academic year, many courses will have set, and marked, course work which will then be available for publication.

Therefore, the next issue of the Journal of Conservation and Museum Studies will appear in May 1997.

Meanwhile, we continue to accept papers for future publication. Students in conservation or museum studies programs (or researching relevant topics) are invited to propose papers for publication. Papers should focus either on issues and techniques in conservation, or on museum studies and collections care. Students are expected to submit their papers to their own head of department (or delegated member of staff), who will then be identified as referee for the paper. Papers should then be submitted to the Journal by this head of department. More specific information and guidelines for authors are available in the Journal's Guidelines page, and specific questions may be directed to jcms@ucl.ac.uk.
