Welcome to the Journal of Conservation & Museum Studies. Published
under the auspices of the Institute of Archaeology, University College London, the Journal exists as
an academic World Wide Web publication, disseminating information to the global
conservation and museum community. The papers and articles found in the Journal
represent the work of conservation and museum studies students from around the
world, and have been refereed by academic staff representing conservation and
museum studies training programmes. The Journal is available at University College
London (UK), and at Conservation OnLine
(USA).
The methods, techniques, and conclusions found in individual papers
are the work and responsibility of the author of the paper, and should in no way
