Socialsports Winter leagues, January - March

Allstars and Recidivists achieve another 1-2 at Paddington on Mondays! Cherries are runners-up at Wimbledon, and Specials and Boosters.... had a lot of fun :-)

Islington Winter league, February - April

FINALLY MNA IPS manages to win the ever-elusive Allnations league title!

Irish Challenge Trophy, London leg, 24 February

Giddyup do the double and retain the "ashes"! But only by a single goal, after extra time...!

Javea (Alicante) tour and mixed tournament 30/March - 3 April

Brilliant! Amazing! Fantastic! And we even came back with two huge trophies! We are SO going again next year...! :-)

Allnations Spring League, Islington April - June

Congratulations to IPS for reclaiming the Wednesday Islington crown at last! And comiserations to MNA Badgers who - er - didn't :-)

Llandudno, 1 April

Despite the absence of many Spain, how could we miss the inaugural Welsh Netball Association mixed tournament - on April Fools day! A respectable third place with a scratch team.

Lots of MNA people pretending to be aussies and kiwis :-)

Grasshoppers, 29 April

Party Stars make the final but can't turn over Nightingales (aka TDC!)

TNT Tournament, 12 May

Cherries achieve a very creditable 3rd place, while Party Stars find that their best bet is versatility... :-)

Brean Sands, 18-20 May

A new format (all-play-all, top two play the final) and some unfortunate inter-team results meant we finished 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 12th and missed out on the final despite having beaten TDC (who were finalists with Katz)! Rats! Team orders next year...? :-)

Cornwall, 17 June

Having won for the past two years, we decided to let someone else have a lookin and only came 3rd :-)

MNA Open 7 July

Recidivists 1st, Allstars 2nd! Mind you it did take a fight... (don't ask)

Tongham mixed 14 July

Avatars make the plate sei but otherwise a bare cupboard after a great start by Allstars in winning their group.

CMO 15 July

A thunderstorm and subsequent matches being reduced to 5 minutes (total, not each way!) conspired to deny the Avatars a final place by a single point - now if only we'd lost 3-2 instead of 3-1...!

Friendly vs the Home Office 23 July

Down at Kennington where the courts are wonderfully cheap! Bring visas in case they check :)

A win at last! Recidivists grab the cup over DBs (local hotshots) with Allstars in third place!

Socialsports Paddington Winter League (continuing), October - Jan

A one-two in the top division on Mondays with Recidivists beating Allstars to the honours - and second and third for SPecials and Recidivists on Tuesdays!

Socialsports Paddington Winter leagues Feb-April

Our teams bring home the bacon with Allstars, Recidivists and PPS taking the top three slots in the competitive division! And Specials make runners-up in the social division too!

MNA Internal versatility minitournament, 4 Feb

Postponed due to lack of venue! Soon though...

Irish Challenge Trophy, return leg 18 Feb

The Irish finally triumph! Maximus beat Recidivists in an excellent final by a single goal - well done Dublin (and friends :-) )!

Allnations Spring League April - June

A return to Islington for the infamous Islington Party Sluts on Wednesdays!

Socialsports Spring Leagues May - July

Bit of a reshuffle as Paddington is closed - fielding five teams at Westbourne Park (Hurricanes and Party Stars on Mondays, Specials and Dog's Breakfast on Tuesdays and Boosters on Wednesdays) plus MNA Cherries at Wimbledon for the first time!

CNUK Spring Leagues May - July

Recidivists move to Pimlico to compete in the Wednesday mixed division!

Brean Sands 12-14 May

A great weekend fo rour three teams and hangers-on - and Recidivists made the grand final, only losing by 2 goals!

Allnations tournament 10 June

Sadly the Islington Party Sluts lived up to their name and lost by a single goal in the semis to the eventual winners!

Corwall 18 June

A brilliant weekend away and a brilliant result - first and second!

The annual MNA Open 1 July...

Katz make a successful defence of their title, and Chilli Bums take the plate!

Tongham, 8 July

All three teams made the cup section despite very tough competition, but Hurricanes were the only ones who managed to make the semis where they lost to Tongham Tigers. Good club showing though to get three in the top eight!

Cumberland, 15 July

Two teams and we managed first and second!

CMO, 16 July

Some adminstrative hiccups and we end up missing the final... but politically for the best!

More changes as Specials move to Camden, and the Party Stars take up the reins at Westway, winning a very tough division! Meanwhile down south MNA Cherries come runners-up in the Wimbledon division.

Hurricanes and Recidivists in the A division plus Boosters in the social... Not a lot of silverware but lots of good netball!

Canary Wharf 5-a-side, 12 August

Two official squads, several unofficial ones, and loads of guest apperarances... and our "unofficial" side came top!

Allnations Autumn League September - November

Despite an unbeaten regular season the Party Sluts conspire to lose in the final AGAIN! What is it with those guys...?! :-)

Pacesetters tournament, 23 September

Another postponement - at least it kept Tanny off the wicket at Old Trafford!

Socialsports Autumn leagues, October - December

Recidivists and Allstars complete another 1-2 on Mondays at Paddington in the top division, Cherries come second at Wimbledon, and Specials do well on Wednesdays (and Boosters also win - the wooden spoon!)

For the fourth year running! Giddy up defeat the Party Stars in a hard-fought final.. Another great tour :-)
