Amicus is one of the leading trade unions campaigning for equality in the workplace and society at large.

Amicus has structures at regional and national level to allow members of the following groups to contribute to the union's activities and advise on specific equality issues:

Women
Black and other ethnic minorities
Members with disabilities
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) members
Young members
Retired members

The union also encourages issues relating to equalities to be raised and tackled within the mainstream structures of the union - the workplace groups, branches and regional councils.

For more information regarding the equalities structures in Amicus, please contact the National Officer for Equalities , Siobhan Endean (siobhan.endean@amicustheunion.org)
