September 2008:
I am resuming my full teaching and administrative duties, and will be back in my UCL office in London from 22 September onwards.

I am applying for a Rannis grant to continue my work on wartime memory and representation in Icelandic fiction.

From 1 - 27 August, I will be in Denmark on a Danish language course, and will only sporadically read my e-mail.

April 2007:
I have been awarded a Leverhulme Research Grant for an individual research project entitled, "War in Mind: Wartime Memory in Postwar Icelandic Literature".

February 2007:

A History of Icelandic Literature has now been published and is available from the University of Nebraska Pressand other online bookshops.
