Jane Hallam

 

Jane graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2016 with an MSc in Aquatic Ecology, after working for over a decade as an aquarist and consultant in the ornamental fish trade.


Jane’s PhD is investigating the robustness of environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding in describing the fish communities in the River Thames, both spatially and temporally. She is jointly supervised by Dr Elizabeth Clare of Queen Mary University.
