Product development and prototyping

This year I will be running tutorials for UCL's MSc in Engineering with Innovation & Entrepreneurship module MECHGF01 & MECHGI01; Innovation and Group Design Project where I will be helping students prototype their inventions in the field of assistive technology. I will be drawing on my knowledge of materials science, 3D printing, electronics, C++, Python and serial connection protocols, among other things. The theme for this year's module is "Design for disability". Previous years' themes were "Smart healthcare technology" (2014-15) and "The internet of things" (2013-14). Please email me to book a tutorial, I prefer to teach on Fridays.

Previously...

In 2012 I taught Matlab programming to mathematicians at the University of Surrey as part of their Numerical Methods module and I compiled the lecture notes for the MMath module "Geometric Mechanics". I have also been a freelance maths tutor to engineering and economics students throughout my university career and prior to that taught piano and guitar for many years.
