Prof Ferruccio Renzoni
Ferruccio is the group leader and professor in Physics. Ferruccio studied at the Universities of Pisa (MSc), and at the Technische Universität of Graz (PhD). He then worked for two years in Germany, at the Institut für Laserphysik of the University of Hamburg, and for three years in France, at the Laboratoires Kastler Brossel (Ecole Normale Superieure, Paris). In Paris, Ferruccio obtained his "Habilitation a diriger des recherches". He then joined UCL in 2003 in his position of Professor in Physics. Dr Luca Marmugi
Luca studied Physics at the University of Pisa (MSc) and he spent a few years as research assistant at INO-CNR.
He then moved to University of Siena, where he obtained his PhD in Experimental Physics. Luca joined our group in March 2014 as post-doctoral research fellow and as a Marie Curie Fellow since 2015.
He then continued his research with us as a senior post-doctoral research associate until March 2020. From May 2021, Luca started collaborating with the group as a honorary senior research fellow.

PhD Students
Yuval Cohen
Yuval studied Natural Sciences at the University of Birmingham (MSci). He joined the group as PhD student in October 2017.
Krishna Jadeja
Krishna studied Physics (MSci) at UCL and joined the group as a PhD student in October 2017.
Ben Maddox
Ben studied Physics at the University of Birmingham (MSci). He joined the group as PhD student in November 2018.
Sindi Sula
Sindi studied Physics (MSci) at UCL and joined the group as a PhD student in October 2018.
Han Yao
Han studied Instrumentation at Beihang University (China). She joined the group as PhD student in September 2019.
