Introductory Programme

The UCL Introductory Programme (IP) launched this year was a new interactive online learning experience to help studebts get to know UCL - its values, its community and its achievements - before starting their programme.

We are holding focus groups of current UCL students to better understand their thoughts of the IP. Students don't need to have completed the programme to take part.

We plan to carry out this focus group online, where you will be part of a small group (no more than 10 students) discussing different aspects of the IP with us.

Who can take part?

Never heard of the Introductory programme? No problem! We still want to hear from you. Any current UCL student is invited to sign up.

If you didn’t experience any of the IP this year, we’d still like to get further feedback on why that may be.

If you’ve completed any section(s)/objects of the IP, we’ll ask you some of the following questions:

  • what you enjoyed or found less interesting
  • your ideas around the themes
  • your views on the tone of content etc.

How will they run?

Time: 1-1.5 hours

Where: Online via Teams and Mentimeter.

When: We hope to carry out these focus groups during mid-late February.

If you’re interested in attending please complete this Doodle poll by the end of day, 29 Jan 2021, to let us know when you’d be available to take part.

When completing the poll, please note your full name and your student number/UPI so we can reach out to you in future eg. Louise Smith utnpvlo.

After this date we will be in touch with more detail.
