PTES 2018: more than 2,500 Master’s students have shared their views so far

16 May 2018

With less than a month to go until the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey closes, more than 2,500 Master’s students have already told us about their experiences of studying here.

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey closes on 15 June

The survey is anonymous and aims to capture the range of priorities and expectations of postgraduate taught students, which are often very different to those of undergraduates. If you would like to a chance to share your views, you still have time.

How to take the survey

You will have received an email with your personal link to the survey, or you can go to https://ucl.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/ptes2018 and login with your student number (number on the front of your student ID card) and your date of birth as password.

The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. Once the survey closes on 15 June 250 winners will be selected randomly from all respondents and they will each receive a £10 Amazon voucher. One randomly selected student will win a £500 cash prize.

Why should I complete the survey?

Making improvements relies on having an accurate and up-to-date understanding of your priorities.

Recent improvements for this academic session, that have been implemented because of student feedback include:

  • Provision of 300 extra study spaces during Third Term in the form of pop-up libraries
  • 549 new computers have been installed this year
  • Immediate support has been made available through daily drop-in sessions with mental health, disability and wellbeing advisers.
