Dr Alex Lee

Alex Lee

I completed my PhD in the Italian Department (SELCS) in March 2017. I work on medieval popular religion and plague in Italy, looking particularly at a group called the Bianchi at Lucca and Pistoia in 1399. I did my BA in Modern and Medieval Languages (Italian and French) at the University of Cambridge before moving to UCL for my MA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. I really like Harry Potter, and collect the books in different languages- I currently have 36 books in 18 different language editions.  You can read more about my research at http://bianchi1399.wordpress.com/.
