Svetlana Khoronenkova - Non-clinical LecturerDr Svetlana Khoronenkova received her PhD in Biochemistry from Moscow State University before joining the Gray Institute for Radiation Oncology and Biology at Oxford University in 2009. In late 2015, Svetlana was awarded a Wellcome Trust Sir Henry Dale fellowship to set up her research group at the Department of Biochemistry at Cambridge University. In 2024, Svetlana was appointed non-clinical lecturer in our team. Her current research investigates the molecular mechanisms of women’s cancer initiation and progression, with a focus on genome instability and immune responses. |
Haleema Azam - Postdoctoral Research FellowDr Haleema Azam was awarded her PhD in 2024 from University College Dublin, Ireland. She joined as a research fellow in May 2024, where a part of her project will focus on early cancer prevention and personalising ovarian cancer treatment using HIPEC. |
Célia Brochen - Postdoctoral Research FellowDr Célia Brochen received her PhD in 2024 from University of Caen Normandy, France. In July 2024, Celia was appointed as a postdoctoral research fellow as part of the NEMO consortium (Novel Early Markers of Ovarian cancer). Her research will focus on the investigation of early cancer-initiating events in ovarian cancers with the aim of identifying early markers of ovarian cancers. |
