Neonatal Neuroimaging and Biomarkers

Our aim is to develop a panel of new magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy biomarkers for term infants with acute brain injury and preterm infants. Magnetic resonance biomarkers is study endpoint in the TOBY xe study. Other biomarker studies (Preterm Development Project and the Baby Brain Study) aim to reduce the number of infants needed in phase II clinical trials and accelerate translation of experimental therapies to the clinic.
