World's first baby born by IVF done almost entirely by a machine

Professor Joyce Harper (UCL EGA Institute for Women’s Health) said that a recent IVF procedure almost completely carried out by machines was an exciting proof of concept, but larger, randomised trials were needed to fully establish its effectiveness.
