Low Birth-Weight in Newham project shortlisted for the Health Service Journal’s CCG of the Year

A project undertaken in collaboration with the EGA Institute for Women’s Health, UCL and Institute for Health and Human Development, UEL focussing on tackling low birth-weight in the London Borough of Newham has contributed to the NHS Newham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to being shortlisted for the prestigious Health Service Journal’s (HSJ) CCG of the Year award.

Professor Judith Stephenson along with Dilisha Patel, both from the Reproductive Health Research Department, were involved in this project.
