Professor Usha Menon (IfWH Women's Cancer) presents further results from the UK Collaborative Trial of Ovarian Cancer Screening (UKCTOCS) at the premier oncology conference ASCO at Chicago on 6th June 2016.
The key findings were of a significant stage shift in the detection of invasive ovarian/tubal/peritoneal cancers especially high grade serous in the multimodal screening arm of the trial compared to the no screening arm.
The presentation was chosen to be part of Best of ASCO, a global educational initiative that condenses highlights from ASCO’s Annual Meeting into a two-day program that includes research that is relevant and significant in oncology today.
