Please join us at Dr Michelle Oyen's Invited Lecture: Digital Twins of Human Pregnancy, which will take place on Monday 9 June, 1.00pm - 2.00pm BST, at The Christopher Ingold Building, Chemistry Lecture Theatre XLG1, 20 Gordon Street, London, WC1H 0AJ.
This is an in-person event and pre-booking is essential.
Dr Oyen has a PhD in Biophysical Sciences and Medical Physics and then spent 12 years as Faculty at University of Cambridge. Since her return to the US in 2018, she has driven forward collaborations between engineers and obstetricians in women’s health to prevent, diagnose and intervene in preterm birth. Dr Oyen uses computer modelling approaches to explore why preterm labour happens and to develop ways to prevent it.
